Self-care is about showing up as your whole and authentic self. Create a wellness plan that can assist you in maintaining and then thriving.
Authentic is defined by Merriam Webster as an adjective “worthy of acceptance or belief as conforming to or based on fact.” When we are our authentic self, we can place less emphasis on outside perceptions, attitudes, and beliefs of others. We can also evaluate the origin of the perceptions, attitudes, and beliefs that we place on ourselves. Authenticity allows us to flow prophetically to be what God has placed us in this space and time for a reason. Self-care allows us the benefit to not doubt ourselves and be our whole selves.
Self-care encourages as to look at the people places things actions behaviors and thoughts that create our experiences. Below are the opening questions I pose to those who participate in my self-care class. Email me for information about the next virtual class or individual coaching.
